Security Deposit

$300 due four (4) weeks prior to your arrival at the house and refundable at the completion of your stay providing no damage has occurred during the rental period. – not negotiable

RESERVATION/ CANCELLATION POLICY:

1.         A deposit of 20% of the total value of the rental of the house for the period reserved is required at the time of reservation. The balance is required four (4) weeks prior to the arrival date at the house, together with a $300 security deposit. For reservations made less than four (4) weeks prior to the arrival date at the house, this amount is required at the time of reservation. The security deposit is refundable on the completion of your vacation, assuming that no damage has occurred during the rental period.

2.         The deposit will be treated as part payment of the total amount due. If the balance is not paid four (4) weeks prior to the rental date, Our Disney Retreat reserves the right to cancel the booking without further notice. In the event of cancellations, the 20% deposit is refundable less $50 administration fee if written notice is received at least twenty-eight (28) days before the scheduled check-in date EXCEPT reservations for Holiday periods as shown in our rate information and reservations of four (4) weeks or longer NO REFUND of the 20% deposit. No refund on cancellations made less than twenty-eight (28) days prior to the check in date.

3.         If after the acceptance of the reservation, the client wishes to alter confirmed reservations, an amendment fee may be charged, if the alteration is made less than 28 days prior to the rental date cancellation charges may be applied. Any amendment to the original booking will not be effective until it is received and agreed to in writing by Our Disney Retreat.

4.         Should any problem occur with the accommodation during your stay, our management company must be informed immediately.

5.         The keys to the house which will be collected in Florida may not be copied.

6.         No pets allowed – except by special arrangement.

7.         Parking of Recreational Vehicles is not permitted on the driveway or grass of the house.

SMOKING POLICY

OUR DISNEY RETREAT IS DESIGNATED NON-SMOKING IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE FLORIDA CLEAN AIR ACT.

Ashtrays are provided for outdoor smoking only (I.E. pool area, yard and front porch). Smoking inside the home will result in forfeiture of your entire security deposit.

The purpose of the Florida Clean Indoor Air Act (FCIAA) is to protect people from the health hazards of secondhand tobacco smoke and to implement the Florida health initiative in section 20, Article X of the State Constitution.

Prohibition -- A person may not smoke in an enclosed indoor workplace, except as specified below (s. 386.204, F.S.). Enclosed, indoor workplaces means -- Any place where one or more persons engages in work, and which place is predominantly or totally bounded on all sides and above by physical barriers, regardless of whether such barriers consist of or include, without limitation, uncovered openings; screened or otherwise partially covered openings; or open or closed windows, jalousies, doors, or the like. The Department of Health considers enclosed indoor workplaces to include, but not be limited to the following: • Public and private workplaces • Restaurants • Bowling centers • Private country clubs • Hotels/motels • Beauty/barber salons • Libraries • Auditoriums/theaters • Nursing homes/health care facilities • Educational facilities (private or public) 􀂾 Penalties -- Any person who violates s. 386.204, F.S., commits a noncriminal violation as defined in s. 775.08(3), F.S., punishable by a fine.
